Edinburgh narcoleptic-pop trio Magic Eye have always favored a faded, falling-through-clouds sound but Babylon filters these instincts even further through space echo and enchanted fog, birthing their best collection yet. Comprised of Alex (guitar / programming), Bek (guitar / vocals), and Roma (vocals), they experienced the rite of passage of recording their first set of songs at a polish-prone studio, rendering the results a bit gritless. Fortunately they regrouped, collected the stems, and pieced the tracks back together with a lusher, degraded haze.

Versions of some of these songs surfaced on 2013's Shreddin' On Heaven's Door cassette but the Babylon mixes predate them, primordial heroin hanging in the sky, beautifully blurred, naked, and melting in the light.
